SwapChess: privacy
What SwapChess is
SwapChess is a puzzle game with chess pieces for iPhone, by Carlos Sáez Alfonsea (Spanish tax ID 46.972.123-M, Rosa Leveroni 3, 2-4, 08960 Sant Just Desvern (Barcelona)). Contact: info@chesscorrector.com. This policy explains which data are involved when you play; the ChessCorrector web service has its own privacy policy.
No account, nothing on our servers
The game asks for no sign-up, e-mail or name. Your progress (puzzles solved, stars, coins, streak) and your settings stay on your iPhone only and never reach us. Deleting the app deletes them.
The daily reminder is a notification scheduled by your own iPhone; it goes through no server. You can turn it off in the game's settings or in iOS settings.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game is free and paid for by full-screen ads between puzzles, served by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited). To show and measure them, Google may process device data such as advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, model and system, and how you interact with the ads.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we ask for your consent first, with Google's form (IAB TCF). If you do not consent, ads are not personalised with your data. Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) is used only if you allow it in the iOS tracking prompt.
You can change your choice at any time in Settings > Ad privacy inside the game, and in iOS Settings > Privacy > Tracking.
How Google uses these data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Legal basis
Your consent for personalised advertising and for accessing the device to that end. Legitimate interest for showing non-personalised ads, measuring them and preventing fraud, under Google's terms.
International transfers
Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Children
SwapChess is not specifically directed at children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has given us data, write to us.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability by writing to info@chesscorrector.com. As we keep no game data, what we can act on concerns advertising; for data processed by Google you can also contact Google. You may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Changes
If we change this policy we will say so here, with the date. If a change affects how data are processed, you will see it in the game.
